《中国翻译》1980年创刊，中国翻译协会会刊。连续多年被评为外语类核心期刊，入选《中文社会科学引文索引来源期刊目录》、《中文核心期刊要目总览》和《中国人文社会科学核心期刊要览》、《RCCSE中国核心学术期刊》，连续多年入选“中国最具国际影响力学术期刊”（人文社科类）以及“期刊数字影响力百强期刊”。

    《中国翻译》是我国译界学术水平最高、最具权威性的期刊之一。本刊宗旨：开展译论研究，切磋翻译技艺，探讨翻译教学，推动产学结合，促进国际交流，繁荣翻译事业。杂志为促进译学研究、传播翻译理念和知识、推动翻译教育和行业发展，提高翻译专业在人文社科领域中的地位等方面发挥了重要作用。以杂志为依托开展的韩素音国际翻译大赛受到了海内外青年翻译学子、翻译从业人员、翻译爱好者的热情参与，取得了良好的社会效益。

    Chinese Translators Journal (CTJ) is a scholarly publication sponsored by the Translators Association of China. A peer-reviewed bimonthly in Chinese, CTJ is committed to promoting translation both as a socio-cultural practice and as an area of theoretical inquiry. The Journal aims to stimulate innovative research on all translation-related issues. It offers a forum for China’s translators, interpreters and scholars of translation studies to share with one another their fresh ideas and new f indings, and to exchange views with their international counterparts as well.
 
    CTJ welcomes contributions that deal with a wide generic range of topics, from conference interpreting to pedagogy of translation. It also encourages discussions based on a diversity of methodological perspectives. Submissions will be evaluated initially by the Editorial Department. Those found suitable for the Journal will then go through a double-blind peer review process. To facilitate this process, avoid self-identif ication in the text proper of the MS, and provide instead a separate cover page with the title of the article, the name of the author and his/her institutional aff iliation. The Editor’s decision on a submission is normally made within 90 days.
