“语言教育与语言服务对话”国际会议

随着翻译学科在中国高等教育领域的迅猛发展，信息技术的不断更新，海外新的应用不断涌现，增强语言教育者和语言服务业界之间的互动与合作越来越重要。因此，为了促进语言教育者与语言服务业界通力合作，香港中文大学（深圳）人文社科学院将与深圳市翻译协会共同举办一场国际会议。本次会议将于2016年11月26-27日在深圳举行。
会议主题
本次会议的主题是：语言教育和语言服务对话
会议主要包括以下四大主题：
(1) 语言服务新的发展和需求
(2) 新的研究途径和新的语言技术应用
(3) 跨文化交际中的语言学习新趋势
(4) 符合市场需求的语言类专业人才培养

本次会议的主题是：语言教育和语言服务对话
会议主要包括以下四大主题：
(1) 语言服务新的发展和需求
(2) 新的研究途径和新的语言技术应用
(3) 跨文化交际中的语言学习新趋势
(4) 符合市场需求的语言类专业人才培养
摘要/论文提交
有意参会者请提交与会议主题相关的500字左右英文摘要。宣讲论文时，宣讲人可选择使用中文或英文进行宣讲。提交摘要时请提供：文章标题、姓名、所属机构名称、个人简介、邮寄地址、电子邮件地址和电话。
摘要收件截止日期为2016年8月31日。
筹委会将在2016年9月30日前以邮件的形式通知摘要被采纳的作者。
完整的论文需于2016年10月30日前提交。论文将以论文集的形式出版。
所有论文需为原创，且未在其他期刊、杂志或书籍等发表。
摘要和全文可提交至：hssconference@cuhk.edu.cn。

In view of the fast-paced growth of translation studies in tertiary education in China and the advent of the information technology and its applications, we feel that there is a growing need for increased interactions between providers for language education and those for language service. Therefore, the school of humanities and social science of CUHK(SZ) would like to propose to co-sponsor an international conference on translation studies together with the Translators Association of Shenzhen to promote cooperation of the language educators and language service providers. The event will be held in Shenzhen on November 26-27, 2016.

Main theme of the conference is:
Language Education and Language Service -- A Dialogue
Under this main theme for discussion there are four subthemes:
(1) New developments and needs in language service provision
(2) New avenues for research and application for language technology
(3) New trends in language studies for cross-cultural communication
(4) The training of language professionals to meet market needs
Submission of Abstracts/Full Papers
* We invite submission of 500-word abstracts, written in English, addressing the themes of the conference. The paper can be presented either in English or Chinese at the conference. Please include the following information in your abstract submission: the title of paper, your full name, affiliation and a short bio. You should also provide us with your mailing address, email address and telephone.
* Deadline for receipt of abstracts is August 31, 2016.
* Papers accepted for the Conference will be notified by September 30, 2016 via email.
* Full paper submission deadline for accepted papers is October 30, 2016.
* Papers should be the original work of the author and have not been published previously. A collection of the refereed papers will be published for research in the related areas.
* Abstracts and full paper can be submitted via email to hssconference@cuhk.edu.cn.
Registration
* A registration fee of RMB 500 payable to “The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen” is required. For student participants, a registration fee of RMB 200 payable to “The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen” is required.
* Conference Registration will be opened from July 15th, 2016. Please visit the official registration website of the conference for updates : (http://www.myregie.tw/registration!page.htm?id=9222)
* Registration deadline for presenters is October 15th, 2016. Failure to do so will be considered as a withdrawal from presentation at the conference.
* The deadline for early bird registration is September 10th, 2016 and there will be 50% discount for those who meet the early bird registration deadline.
